In this present context of world, we have 100s of 1000s of website and blogs being built in daily basis. Internet and WWW is new source of information for us. On average people tend to spend about 27 hours a week in internet even growing day by day. Why wouldn’t we spend time on internet when all the information we need is completely available, for help we have forums, for entertainment we have YouTube, social medias etc. Why do people build these websites? We are all busy in our own work, so someone would make website and pay for their hosting early for no reason? Nope is perfect answer. In this 21st century nothing is free and nobody got time to do something without hoping for return. So, what exactly they get out of it? Everything we ever wanted, “money”.
I have bunch of friends asking about is it real? Can you earn while writing about stuff you love? Making videos on YouTube? Making free blogs? Yes my friends, the era of digital marketing is beginning well begun long ago. You do get paid for various website you make. Of course, there are couple of things you need to work on first before getting paid but what is it actually? How can we do it? Where to begin? I know there must be 100s of question in your mind else you wouldn’t be here to read this.
Since, people spend alot of time in websites; they are best places for different growing companies to advertise. So, if you have website or blog, you would let those merchants to place those advertisements on your website or blog. Hence, when internet users visit your website, they will see different advertisement and click if interested. When they click on those Ads you get paid for those.
Without wasting any time how can we get started? Let’s begin,
What do you need is first question,
- Can you develop website from scratch? Without using any theme customization (i know it cost but it’s for better tomorrow, trust me).if you can make website with unique idea/content. Now, I know we aren’t computer genius. Hence, there are various websites where you can just customize pre-build theme according to your own need (I will explain about those in next post).
- Now, the content of your blog/website. Content of your website must be interesting else nobody is going to visit your website; I don’t like to go spend my time on some useless boring website. Like they say “time is money my friend”. Make sure, they are interesting, well-written, and well-organized.
- Since, our website/blog is ready and we have first post. When do i get paid? You don’t get paid right away, there are still couple of things you need to do. Keep on writing those contents. Make it around 20-30 post. Go visit someone else blogs and website and interact, give your view on what you think on their blog. So they will visit yours and keep their view. It works 99% of the time. If someone else visit my blog and say something I would be curious about the content he writes about
- Growing your audience is another big part of this process, without audience there is no point in making blogs/websites. If you don’t have viewers, you can’t get revenue for those Ads you have placed on your websites. Hence, audience is main aspect of this whole process. It’s not easy but yet hang in there and you will get there.
These are the basic steps required for the approval. I know it seems plain and simple but everything is plain and simple when you look from distance but in here get ready to get your hands dirty.
Now, for those who are wondering, how to create website/blogs. If you computer genius then you don’t need any help in this part. But, if you are some random guy who spends lot of time working in internet and wants to do something else than job you are hooked up to, there are various pre-build theme designed platforms you use for this process. You can visit those websites and start building without doing any coding and they are very popular among developers and users. You can also find different theme which you need to pay for and some are free but there is really no difference. I usually go with free theme unless i have to make something professional like for companies, business etc.
There are various free website builder, of course i haven’t tried all of them but i have couple of them which i have tried and among those i am going my top 5 best builder.
- WordPress:
WordPress is free and open source Content Management System (CMS) which works using PHP and MySQL. It allows users to use different theme and plug-ins as per our need. Another reason I like WordPress is its community. WordPress is indeed most used platform at present day. It also allows user to customize theme and post which makes job easier. - Weebly:
Weebly is another free and open source web site builder. It features drag and drop. Best features of weebly are that storage is unlimited but of course it restricts users in individual file sizes. You can just drag and drop elements to generate mobile version of website. They also have various plug-ins for various purposes like PayPal, Stripe, etc.
- WIX:
WIX is Cloud Based web development platform that allows users to create HTML5 web sites and mobile site. They also use concept of drag and drop tool. You can add different plug-ins in WIX too like social site, e-commerce, email etc. People can also build website from scratch without using any templates (developers might love this).
- Yola:
Yola is another platform where users can make website even if they don’t have programming skills. They also provide web hosting services. If you start getting good payment you can upgrade you account to Bronze, Silver, Gold and premier. They all have different upgraded features. Visit their site for more information.

Website builder is platform just like wordpress where you can find pre-built website and customize it according it to user requirements. You can also find various tools like e-commerce, SEO, email setup etc. Integration of those tools are pretty easy and also you can find various tutorials about these in internet.
Among all above mentioned, I tend to use WordPress for its easy setup and huge community which makes things easy and you can share your post to grow audience.
